Frequently Asked Questions
How can I start working with you?
The coaching partnership starts with a complimentary consultation. It is important to find a coach whom you feel comfortable with and connect with. This first meeting allows you to explore the possibilities of coaching. If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule a Strategy and Planning Session to set direction and clarify your goals. After the Strategy and Planning Session, you can find the available package options under "packages."
How is coaching different from therapy, consulting, or mentoring?
Coaching is a collaborative, future-focused partnership that helps you clarify your goals and create meaningful change. Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnose or explore past wounds, and unlike mentoring or consulting, I do not give advice or tell you what to do. Coaching is client-centered, which means you are the expert of your life and have all the answers within your unique brain. Rather than offering fixed answers, we focus on exploring what genuinely fits you and how you want to move forward. My role is to ask thoughtful questions, reflect your strengths, and support you in uncovering your own insights. This kind of exploration builds confidence, ownership, and is proven to create lasting growth.

How long does coaching take?
The duration of coaching depends on your individual goals and what you want to explore and transform. I encourage a commitment of at least four months, and most clients work with me for three to six months because that timeframe allows us to build a strong foundation, understand your patterns, and create strategies that truly support you. You will also have space to practice new habits, experience progress, and create lasting change.
I offer three packages so you can choose the level of support that fits you best: 24 weeks, 12 weeks, and 4 weeks. My intention is always to empower you rather than create dependence, so the timeline is shaped around what feels most supportive for your growth.
What happens if I don't complete my coaching work between sessions?
At the end of each session, we will work together to choose what you want to explore between sessions so you can move closer to your goals. The purpose of this work is simply to help you learn more about yourself and gather new insight. If you do not complete it, do not be hard on yourself! I am your coach, not your teacher, therapist, or parent. I am here to support you, help you reach your goals, and help you towards a life that feels aligned to your highest self.
Can I email/text you in between sessions for extra support?
Yes! I encourage you to text/email me in between sessions. It's often a part of your "work" outside of sessions and for extra support and accountability.
What happens if I miss or need to reschedule a session?
Without any prior notice, you will forfeit the session for that date. If you need to reschedule your appointment time, please try to give 24 hours' notice. This allows another client the opportunity to use that time. If you know you will be late, please contact me. If possible, I'll try to extend the session time, but you may forfeit that time. We will use the remaining time for that session in a powerful way! If you have an emergency and need to reschedule, we will work around it and make up the session during the month at a mutually convenient time.
What happens during a coaching session?
Each session is a collaborative space centered on what you want to explore. You set the tone, the focus, and the pace. My role is to partner with you by asking meaningful questions, offering reflections, and supporting you as you deepen your awareness and clarify your goals. Together we look at what you want, what might be getting in the way, and what strengths or strategies can help you move forward. You guide the direction from start to finish, and we close each session with the insights and next steps that feel right for you.
How old do I have to be to work with you?
I work with clients ages 13 and up. For anyone under 18, parental or guardian consent is required. My coaching approach is tailored to each individual, and I create a safe, supportive environment for all clients.
